Quick Summary
The Department of Energy, through National Technology & Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLC (NTESS), is seeking a commercialization partner to license Sandia National Laboratories' Green Decontamination Foam technology. This opportunity is open to United States owned companies operating in the U.S. interested in bringing this innovative, low-residue, peroxide-based decontaminant to market. Letters of Intent are due by June 27, 2026.
Opportunity Details
Sandia National Laboratories has developed a Green Decontamination Foam designed for routine application in public areas. This new formulation addresses limitations of previous foams by being peroxide-based, using food and cosmetic-grade materials, and leaving minimal residue. It is easier to transport and gentler on surfaces, making it an environmentally safer and more effective solution for decontamination. More information is available at https://ip.sandia.gov/opportunity/green-decon-foam/.
