This solicitation is for the procurement of two Optical Emissions Spectrometers (OES) for the Rock Island Arsenal (RIA). One unit is designated for the lab, and the other for the foundry. Both systems will analyze the elemental composition of materials, with the foundry unit providing real-time results during material pours. These new units will replace existing equipment.

• Two OES Systems: One SPECTROLAB S (or equivalent) for the lab and one SPECTROMAXx Advanced (or equivalent) for the foundry.

• Software: Spark Analyzer Pro (or equivalent) for the lab, and Spark Analyzer Pro MAXx (or equivalent) for the foundry. Software must support offline use via license dongle or file and operate on a Windows OS. Internet connection is not required for software use.

• Components: Both systems require specific optical ranges, PC, monitor, argon regulators, and spark stands. The foundry unit requires a HON (Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Nitrogen) option and an argon cleaning option. Both require argon purifiers.

• Matrices & Analytical Programs: Specific matrices (Fe, Al, Ni, Ti, Cu) and analytical programs are defined for each spectrometer.
