Scope of Work

The requirement is for comprehensive repair services to return M250-KS4 MGT engines to a Ready for Issue (RFI) condition. This includes induction, disassembly, inspection, repair, modification, assembly, testing, preservation, packaging, and preparation for shipment. Repairs must adhere to 250-C20B technical manuals, OEM, and Navy Gas Turbine Technical Directives.

Key Requirements for Vendors

  • Authorization: Must possess a valid Authorized Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Centers (AMROC) agreement for the M250 family of engines from Rolls-Royce Corporation (RRC).
  • Facilities: Must have an operational test cell and repair facility capable of functional testing (vibration, starting, acceleration) throughout the operational range.
  • Tools & Equipment: Must own or have access to all OEM-produced special tools, engine stands, and fixtures for complete disassembly, repair, and reassembly. Substitution of non-OEM tooling is not accepted.
  • Repair Turn-Around-Time (RTAT): Ability to meet a total engine RTAT of 180 days (45 days for induction/inspection/proposal, 135 days for repair/testing).
  • Quality Management System: Maintain a QMS in accordance with ASQ/ANSI/ISO 9001:2015 standards.
