Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
- Education: High school equivalent and graduation from an academic phlebotomy course (120 didactic hours).
- Licensure/Certification: Current certification in American Heart Association BLS (Course C) or American Red Cross CPR/BLS Course.
- Experience: Within the last three years, 1040 hours as a Phlebotomy Technician, including 50 successful venipunctures (straight and butterfly needles) and 10 successful skin punctures. Prior experience with a medical health information system and proficient knowledge of medical laboratory terminology. One year of lab experience within the last three years as a clinical pathologist, medical/clinical technologist, or nurse is also eligible if experience requirements are met.
- Language: English proficiency at a native speaker level (TOEIC score >= 700 obtained within the last three years).
Special Considerations
Offerors must already possess or confirm their ability to obtain the requisite business licenses directly from the Republic of Korea (ROK) Government and conduct business in accordance with all applicable ROK laws (labor, taxation, immigration). The ROK-U.S. Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) may preclude the U.S. Government from granting Invited Contractor or Technical Representative Status. Failure to demonstrate this authorization and capacity will result in non-consideration for award.
