Suppliers of Level I/SUBSAFE material must submit documented quality system procedures prior to award.
  • Strict Traceability: Material must have unique traceability markings (heat-lot, heat-treat numbers) directly linking to chemical composition and mechanical properties certification data. Re-identification and re-certification are required if material properties are altered.
  • Packaging: Must comply with MIL-STD 2073.
