Scope of Work
The contractor will procure and install two distinct pallet shelving systems within Bldg. 1107 at McConnell AFB:
- Unit 1: A 157' 1" long x 7' 10" wide, 3-tiered system designed to hold 45 seat pallets, with each bay supporting approximately 3200 lbs. This unit requires specific bay dimensions and built-in dunnage (forklift entry bars). The 157' measurement refers to a single, continuous shelving run.
- Unit 2: A 105' long x 7' 10" wide, 2-tiered system for 20 ATGLs/ISU 90s, also with bays supporting approximately 3200 lbs and built-in dunnage. The front-to-back measurement can consist of two shelving units placed back-to-back. Contractor responsibilities include site pre-inspection, installation according to floor plans, furnishing all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, and transportation. Site maintenance, debris disposal, compliance with fire and safety regulations, and equipment testing are also required. Personnel must undergo background checks (NCI) and obtain base identification. The use of Class I Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) is prohibited. The government will provide forklifts (15,000 lbs and 4,000 lbs) and space for material storage.
