Scope of Work
The primary objective is the removal of hazardous and potentially hazardous trees and limbs along the General Logan and General Howard Civil War earthworks. This includes approximately 393 trees with diameters at breast height (DBH) ranging from 16 to 40 inches, as well as fallen trees and large limbs. The work involves felling, limbing, chipping, and/or hauling debris, with stumps cut at ground level. Special care must be taken to avoid damage to historic earthworks, prohibiting vehicles or machinery on or near these areas. The contractor must coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and park interpretive staff. A Certified Arborist ISA (or equivalent with 3+ years experience) is required on staff.
