The contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation to ensure continuous operation of food service equipment at the Nutritional Medicine Flight (Building 830). Key services include:
- Quarterly Preventive Maintenance (PM): Scheduled inspections and maintenance of equipment like combi ovens, stoves, ice makers, and ware washing machines.
- On-Call Remedial & Emergency Repair Services: 24-hour response for non-emergencies and a mandatory 4-hour on-site response for emergencies (e.g., equipment failure creating a hazard or impacting kitchen duties).
- Personnel Qualifications: Technicians must possess current commercial equipment certifications (e.g., HVAC Level II, EPA 608 Universal) and a minimum of five years of corporate experience. Specific brand certifications (Hobart, Imperial, Traulsen) are also required.
- Sustainable Practices: Replacement parts must be ENERGY STAR® or FEMP-designated where practicable. Cleaning chemicals and lubricants must meet EPA Safer Choice or USDA Certified Biobased standards.
