Quick Summary
The U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is seeking Rubber Coated Material (P/N ARC57242) for use on MH-65E aircraft. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) with an anticipated sole source award to Aero Rubber Co Inc., the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). However, other responsible sources capable of providing new, FAA-approved parts with full OEM traceability are invited to submit offers.
Scope of Work
This requirement is for the procurement of 15 yards of Rubber Coated Material (NSN 1560-01-HS1-9569, P/N ARC57242). All parts must be newly manufactured commercial items, FAA approved, and have clear, documented traceability to the OEM, Aero Rubber Co Inc. No substitute or alternate parts will be considered. The government believes Aero Rubber Co Inc. is the only known source that can provide the required traceability and genuine OEM parts, which is critical for aircraft safety.

Additional Notes
No drawings, specifications, or schematics are available from the agency. This acquisition is justified as sole source under FAR 12.102(a) due to the specialized nature of the part and the critical safety requirements for MH-65E aircraft, necessitating OEM parts or fully traceable equivalents.
