Scope of Work
The requirement includes two (2) professional 3D scanners meeting specific functional and technical characteristics, such as:
- Portable handheld design for field and shop floor use.
- Blue laser capture (or equivalent) with at least 23 laser lines.
- Metrology grade accuracy (up to 0.030 mm, volumetric 0.020 mm + 0.060 mm/m).
- Flexible working distance (200–750 mm) and wide object size range (0.05 m to 4 m).
- High-speed data capture for complex geometries and real-time tracking without external targets.
- Standard file outputs (STL, .OBJ, PLY, STEP) and software integration for mesh processing.
- Environmental tolerance for typical indoor lighting and shop floor conditions.
The contractor will be responsible for delivery, installation, configuration, calibration, verification of operational capability, and providing manufacturer-led training to certify Soldiers in safe and effective operation.

Set-Aside & Eligibility
The U.S. Government intends to set aside this requirement for small businesses if at least two qualified small businesses respond with sufficient information to support a set-aside. All small businesses, including those in socioeconomic categories (8(a), SDB, HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB), are encouraged to respond.
