Quick Summary

The Department of the Air Force is soliciting proposals for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide comprehensive propane gas and delivery services for an existing 1,000-gallon tank at Building 7625 Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) at Barksdale Air Force Base, LA. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Quotes are due Friday, May 01, 2026, by 09:00 AM CDT.

Scope of Work

This requirement is for the supply of liquid propane gas and delivery services to a government-owned 1,000-gallon tank at Building 7625 EOD. The contractor will be responsible for propane supply only, utilizing existing hookups. Services also include the replacement of nitrogen gas cartridges (furnished by the Government) for the heating system, and annual inspections of the gas tank and associated infrastructure (lines, pipes, valves, meters) to ensure safe operation. Emergency service with same-day response during business hours is also required. The government is responsible for repairs to infrastructure, pipes, fittings, parts, materials, gas meters, and regulators. This is a recurring need with variable quantities, with estimated annual gas costs around $150,000 and refills expected from September through March.
