Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive HVAC plant repairs, including:

- Installing a 3-inch length probe size dry well for the Metrix Valve temperature probe on HVAC Plant 1, plus a spare.
- Testing and operating both HVAC Plants to restore full functionality.
- Inspecting the ship's 2 Domestic and 1 Scientific Refrigeration Units, submitting a Condition Found Report.
- Recovering, reusing, and reinstalling refrigerant as needed (contractor responsible for supplying all refrigerant; assume one 30-lb R-134 cylinder for bidding).
- Ensuring all plants are fully charged and leak-free upon completion.
- Potential for growth work (Additional Item Requirements - AIRs), with quoted rates used for any added scope.

Evaluation & Qualifications
Award will be based on Best Value, considering OEM Carrier Trained/Certified status AND/OR Past Experience/Performance, and Best Price. Vendors must be an authorized Carrier dealer/service provider or provide OEM Carrier certifications. Alternatively, vendors must submit at least three detailed job references from the past three years for similar work, specifically troubleshooting/repairing FSV Class HVAC Chilled Water Model 30HXS086R-140 HVAC plants. Contractors must be registered in SAM.gov.
