• HVAC Plant Repairs: Specific repairs to the HVAC plant onboard the NOAA Ship Pisces as detailed in the attached Statement of Work.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To repair the HVAC Plants on the NOAA Ship PISCES.

• Repair HVAC Plants on NOAA Ship PISCES.

• Replace the oil pump on Plant 2 Compressor “A”, including evacuation, weighing, filtering, and reinstallation of refrigerant.

• Repair high temperatures/low pressures on Plant 1 Compressor “B”, including troubleshooting, leak repair, and refrigerant refill.

• Install a dry well for the Metrix Valve temperature probe to HVAC Plant 1, and provide a spare well and probe.

• Test and operate both HVAC Plants, performing any necessary repairs to restore operation.

• Inspect Refrigeration Systems on the ship (Domestic and Scientific units) and submit a Condition Found Report (CFR) for any additional required repairs.

• Tag out and recover refrigerant if necessary for inspections and repairs, storing it in EPA-approved cylinders. Recovered refrigerant shall be weighed, reused, and reinstalled.

• Ensure all HVAC and refrigeration plants are fully charged and leak-free upon completion.

• Operate each plant for a minimum of 24 hours after repairs.

• Contractor must be OEM Carrier trained/certified or have significant experience with FSV Class HVAC/Refrigeration Plants. Past performance detailing experience troubleshooting/repairing FSV Class HVAC Chilled Water Model 30HXS086R-140 HVAC plants is required if not Carrier OEM trained/certified.

• Period of Performance: March 26-31, 2026.

• Location: NOAA Ship PISCES, Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island.
