No weekend, holiday, overtime, or on-call responsibilities are required, but the contractor must be reachable by phone on weekdays for urgent patient issues.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Offerors must demonstrate technical capability and key personnel qualifications. The psychiatrist must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree, be board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General and Child & Adolescent psychiatry, and have experience providing telepsychiatry services. Other requirements include a permanent, unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state, a federal DEA number, U.S. citizenship, required immunizations, English proficiency, and basic IT skills. The contractor will undergo background checks and must be credentialed with clinical privileges granted by the Shiprock Service Unit Credentials Committee. Adherence to HIPAA and IT security policies is mandatory, as outlined in the Business Associate Agreement (Attachment B).
