Quick Summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued a Pre-solicitation Notice for Ambulatory Electroencephalogram (aEEG) Technical Services. The VA intends to release a Request for Offer (RFO) for these services, which are part of the National TeleEEG and TeleEpilepsy program (NTEEG-EP). This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The RFO is tentatively scheduled for release at the End of May 2026, with offers due by the End of June 2026.

Scope of Work

The contractor will provide qualified technical personnel, supervision, scheduling support, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, tools, travel, documentation, secure information handling, and a proprietary cloud-based interoperable platform. These resources are necessary to set up, acquire, complete, upload, and support the technical portion of aEEG studies performed in Veterans' homes or other Government-approved locations. The services include aEEG studies with and without video, in durations of 24-hour, 48-hour, or 72-hour. Primarily, 48-hour and 72-hour recordings will be ordered, with 24-hour studies performed only when specifically requested. Crucially, the contractor shall NOT provide Neurologists for study reads; these will be provided by NTEEG-EP clinicians.
