Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide accredited Pathology Physician Services off-site to perform anatomical autopsy services. This includes partial or full autopsies, gross and microscopic samplings, photography, neuropathology, and toxicology. The contractor is responsible for transporting cadavers from the VAMC to their facility and providing a preliminary anatomical diagnosis within one business day, with a full autopsy report within twenty-five working days. All services must comply with VA information security and privacy requirements.
