Quick Summary
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order for Radiation Meters (specifically, Electromagnetic Field Strength Meters and Field Probes) for the Engineering Branch in Norman, OK. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5). The Government will make an award to the responsive, responsible quoter providing the best value. Quotes are due by June 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM ET.
Scope of Work
NOAA requires the procurement of:
- Item 0001: Thirty (30) WAVECONTROL SMP3- BROADBAND METERS (Part Number WSL0001 or equivalent). These meters must measure electric field strength (V/m) and power density (mW/cm²), with a range of 800V/m to 1 V/m, True RMS readings, timed averaging, peak/max hold, real-time display, and a frequency range of 50MHz-3GHz. They must be handheld, operate for at least one hour on rechargeable batteries, and include a hardshell shipping case.
- Item 0002: Thirty (30) WAVECONTROL WPF3-HP FIELD PROBES (Part Number WWP0302 or equivalent). These probes must withstand fields of at least 12kV/m peak (1µs bursts) and 1kV/m continuous wave, with a frequency range of 50MHz-3GHz, and be compatible with the EMF Strength Meter.
Shipping is included for both items. A critical requirement is the confirmation that radiation wavelength meters are manufactured in the United States.
