Scope of Work
This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment, specifically TaqMan probes. These specialized, dual-labeled DNA oligonucleotides are used in quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) to detect and measure specific DNA sequences. Key features include:
- 5' fluorescent reporter dyes: FAM, VIC, and CY5.
- 3' quenchers: QSY, TAM, MGB, and QSY2.
- Multiplexing capabilities: Probes can be used to perform multiplexing up to five/six targets.
- TAM: Ideal for up to 2 targets, maintaining consistency with legacy TAMRA probe designs, available with FAM, VIC, and TET dyes.
