Quick Summary

The Department of the Air Force is soliciting proposals for Group 2 Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Target Training Services for the 301st Rescue Squadron (RQS) at Patrick Space Force Base (SFB), FL. This Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside and aims to train HH-60W aircrews in countering small, high-speed aerial threats. Proposals are due May 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM Eastern.

Purpose & Scope

The objective is to provide comprehensive Group 2 UAS target training, including realistic targets and operational support, for HH-60W aircrews. The scope of work requires the contractor to:

  • Supply qualified personnel for UAS transport, assembly, launch, operation, and recovery.
  • Conduct four (4) training days: two focused on "search and intercept" and two on "intercept and kinetic engagement," culminating in target destruction.
  • Designate a single point of contact for coordination and remove all company-generated waste and equipment daily. No debris recovery from destroyed targets is required.

Period & Place of Performance

The training is scheduled for June 22-26, 2026, with flexibility required for weather or range scheduling. Launch, recovery, and ground support will be at Patrick SFB, FL, while air training operations will occur in designated airspace 12-25 NM east of Patrick SFB over the Atlantic Ocean.
