Scope of Work
This requirement involves the provision of all labor, equipment, and materials for the removal of existing refrigeration systems and the installation of new ones. The scope includes replacing evaporator units, condensing units, hot gas systems, and upgrading associated outside control systems for both F108 and F109 Environmental Challenge Rooms. New systems must meet or exceed existing capacity, maintain precise temperature control, utilize EPA-compliant refrigerants, and be designed for a coastal, salt-air environment (e.g., gold-coated fins). Integration with the existing Honeywell Tridium Niagara based Building Automation System (BAS) and installation of new dedicated electrical circuits are also required. All work must comply with applicable Federal, state, and local codes and standards (ASHRAE, EPA, OSHA).
