Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This project aims to repair airfield pavement by sealing cracks on asphalt surfaces at Westover Air Reserve Base.

• Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary for crack sealing.

• Apply joint sealant material to cracks on Taxiways Foxtrot and Romeo, and the East Ramp. Any remaining sealant will be applied to the flightline access road.

• Clear identified cracks of all debris, grass, dirt, and failed joint sealant.

• Clean and prepare joint surfaces in accordance with UFC 3-270-01.

• Apply new joint sealant according to UFC 3-270-01, using material conforming to ASTM D6690.

• The extent of repairs is based on an "not to exceed" joint sealant quantity of approximately 1,233 gallons.

• Repaint all disturbed surfaces impacted by crack sealing operations using Federal Paint Specification TT-P-1952F.

• Work will be performed at Westover Air Reserve Base, Chicopee, Massachusetts.

• Work will proceed on taxiways first, then the East Ramp.

• Contractor must comply with all applicable standards and regulations for working on an active airfield.
