Scope of Work
The project requires the contractor to furnish all plant, labor, parts, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision to replace existing climate control units and condensing units in B707. This includes:
- Demolition and disposal of existing units, piping, insulation, valves, and electrical components.
- Installation of new heating and cooling capable climate control units and new condensing units.
- Connection to existing ductwork, installation of new refrigerant lines and condensate lines.
- Provision and installation of ancillary components (piping, electrical wiring, conduit, etc.).
- Integration of control systems into the building's existing Energy Management System (EMS).
- Testing, commissioning, and operation and maintenance training for Base staff.
- New units must use EPA Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) approved refrigerants with zero ozone depleting potential (R-22 is not permitted).
- Contractors are not responsible for adding glycol to the system.
