• Replacement parts must meet OEM specifications and drawings.

• Corrosion is anticipated due to the operational environment and is considered normal.

• Components found to be BER will require a failure data report and disposition instructions from the Contracting Officer.

• Components must be repaired to an airworthy condition.

• All repairs must comply with OEM specifications and FAA Advisory Circular AC 43-4B for corrosion control.

• A quality system compliant with ISO 9001-2000 or equivalent is required.

• Components must be tested and repaired IAW current specifications and procedures.

• Components must be cleaned to be free of hazards (lead, hexavalent chromium, cadmium).

• Work can be performed at the Contractor's facility or a USCG-approved facility.

• Test and Evaluation: Fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of components.

• Repair Color Weather Radar: Sixty (60) days after induction.

• Contractor must maintain OEM certification for repairs.

• All repaired parts must be airworthy and suitable for installation on USCG aircraft.

• Returned components must be tagged with a DD Form 1574 or FAA Form 8130-3, along with a Certificate of Airworthiness and Certificate of Conformance (COC).
