To address significant physical security deficiencies, health and sanitation compliance issues, and negative impacts on habitability and crew morale caused by 37 damaged doors at U.S. Coast Guard Station New Orleans.

• Furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and materials for the installation of associated hardware and repairs to 37 doors.

• Work includes, but is not limited to, hinges, handles, locks, cypher locks, and closures.

• All parts and materials must be new, unused, and made in America.

• Contractor is responsible for disposal of all old materials replaced.

• All doors must operate as designed and close and latch automatically upon project completion.

• Contractor must comply with all OSHA and industry safety standards.

• Contractor must comply with all hot work requirements of the local Coast Guard unit.

• Contractor must coordinate staging and laydown areas with the Coast Guard.

• Location: U.S. Coast Guard Station New Orleans, 201 Metairie-Hammond Hwy, Metairie, Louisiana, 70005.

• Project Performance Period: 120 calendar days, including time for submittals, reviews, and closeout documents.

• Normal Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, unless otherwise approved.
