Scope of Work

The project requires the demolition and in-kind replacement of three rooftop AHUs (Units 2, 5, and 7). The scope includes:

  • Demolition of existing AHUs, breakers, disconnect switches, and wiring (only one AHU at a time).
  • Replacement of 6" branch take-offs with new 8" branch take-offs, volume control dampers, and 8" flexible duct.
  • Installation of new breakers, disconnect switches, and wiring for each AHU.
  • Repair of roof curbs and roofs to prevent thermal, moisture, and weather intrusion.
  • Anchoring new AHUs and curbs according to UFC hurricane criteria.
  • Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) the completed system to ensure positive pressure.
  • Compliance with local, state, and federal codes (IBC, UFC, AFI, NFPA, NEC, ABA), OSHA, and specific safety standards.
  • Removal and off-site disposal of demolished materials.
  • Obtaining all required permits (DIG, BURN, CONFINED ENTRY).
  • Providing manufacturer warranties, O&M manuals, test reports, and as-built drawings.
