Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force, AFLCMC/C3N, is conducting market research through this Request for Information (RFI) to identify sources capable of accelerating the development of the Second Generation Anti-Jam Tactical UHF Radio for NATO (SATURN) Enhanced Data Rate (SEDR) Waveform. This RFI seeks industry expertise to design, develop, and prototype key waveform algorithms and functions. Responses are due June 5, 2026.
Scope of Work
The Government aims to expand its capacity to plan, develop, evaluate, analyze, test, demonstrate, exercise, and document waveform specifications, with an initial focus on the SEDR waveform. Support tasks may involve:
- Development, analysis, and testing of C3NG Reference Implementation Lab (RIL) SEDR radios.
- Integration of prototype code.
- Exploration of features including Physical Layer, Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET), Internet Protocol (IP) Interface, Communications Security (COMSEC), Transmission Security (TRANSEC), Modeling and Simulation, Hardware Development/Prototyping, and Information Assurance boundary issues.
