Quick Summary

The U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), J6, has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to gather details on Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven cybersecurity solutions for its commercial internet service. The goal is to enhance USSOCOM's defensive posture through real-time threat detection, behavioral analytics, automated incident response, and continuous learning capabilities. Responses are due May 28, 2026.

Scope of Work & Key Requirements

USSOCOM is seeking solutions that can be deployed on-prem or hybrid, integrating with existing security stacks (e.g., Microsoft Defender Endpoint, Cisco Firewall, Active Directory). The solutions must protect approximately 500 users and 500 endpoints across Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems. Key capabilities include:

  • Policy enforcement, logging, and auditing.
  • Enhanced detection for exfiltration, unauthorized access, and anomalous file activity.
  • Adherence to Zero Trust principles.
  • Real-Time Web Filtering and Predictive Threat Intelligence.
  • Encrypted Traffic Analysis (e.g., TLS 1.3) without compromising data privacy.
  • Advanced Anti-Phishing and Social Engineering Prevention.
  • Behavioral Baselining and Anomaly Detection for insider threats.
  • Risk Scoring, Data Discovery/Classification (e.g., CUI), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
  • AI Governance for internal/external AI tool usage. The desired operational model is automated, augmenting an existing SOC or delivered as a managed service, with FEDRAMP High SaaS solutions being an option for the "dirty internet" network.

Contract Details & RFI Specifics
