Market Research Survey

This document is a market research survey to gather information for a potential Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order contract for fresh Bread and Bakery products in Georgia, intended for Department of Defense (DoD) military customers. The anticipated contract has a 36-month period of performance with a maximum value of $21,375,000.00.

Vendors are asked to provide feedback on their interest and capability to offer such a contract, focusing on service to military installations in Georgia (Ft. Benning, Ft. Gordon, Ft. Stewart). Specific questions cover:

• Ability to service all or specific listed customers.
• Minimum dollar delivery requirement.
• Current manufacturing capabilities for fresh Bread and Bakery products.
• Past experience with the Federal Government.
• Registration status in SAM.gov and DIBBS.
• Business size (Small/Large).
• Feedback on the feasibility of supporting all troops in Georgia and any limitations.
• Potential subcontracting needs and areas.
• Company capabilities relevant to delivering to the listed customers.
• Percentage of products to be subcontracted to Small Business.

Proposed vendors must have internet access and comply with various inspections and audits. Offerors indicating a Place of Performance not under their direct control must submit documentation of an agreement for production and distribution. The contract will utilize the Subsistence Total Order & Receipt Electronic System (STORES) for ordering, requiring vendors to interface with STORES and support specific EDI transactions (810, 820, 832, 850, 861, 997). Vendors must also be prepared to provide alternate ordering methods if STORES is unavailable.
