Quick Summary

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for Utility Carts Maintenance services at its C5ISC facilities in Alexandria, Virginia. This RFI is for market research purposes to gather industry feedback on a Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and identify capable sources. Responses are due May 8, 2026.

Purpose

The USCG is conducting market research to identify interested and capable sources for continuous, safe, and efficient maintenance services for utility carts and specialized equipment. The feedback received will help refine requirements and inform the acquisition strategy for a future solicitation. Scope of Work (Draft PWS)

The Draft PWS outlines requirements for maintenance services covering approximately 13 Diesel Kubota utility carts, 7 Electric carts, 2 forklifts, 1 John Deere backhoe, and 1 Bobcat front loader. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and materials for both scheduled (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual) and unscheduled maintenance and repairs. Services include checks, fluid changes, lubrication, cleaning, and component inspections according to manufacturer specifications.

Place & Period of Performance

Services will be performed at the USCG C5ISC facilities, MK Shop (Building P03) at 7323 Telegraph Rd, Alexandria, Virginia 22315. The draft PWS proposes a one-year base period (August 30, 2026 - August 29, 2027) with four one-year option periods.
