Detailed Minimum Essential Characteristics (MECs) cover Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality, IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack support, secure administrative access, AAA integration, redundant power supplies, secure boot, standards-based management (SNMPv3, Syslog), user authentication, high availability features, and configuration export capabilities.
