Request for Information (RFI)

This RFI is issued by the 502d Contracting Squadron for market research purposes to identify potential sources for the procurement and delivery of specialized medical training equipment. The requirement includes four (4) GTSimulators BPOB1227 Combination IUP Ectopic Pregnancy Transvaginal Ultrasound Training Models (brand name or equal) and four (4) GTSimulators BPOB1801 Sonohysterography & Sonosalpingography Transvaginal Ultrasound Training Models (brand name or equal), with salient characteristics attached. This RFI is for market research only and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a commitment by the Government.

• Four (4) GTSimulators BPOB1227 Combination IUP Ectopic Pregnancy Transvaginal Ultrasound Training Models (brand name or equal).

• Four (4) GTSimulators BPOB1801 Sonohysterography & Sonosalpingography Transvaginal Ultrasound Training Models (brand name or equal).

• Salient characteristics for the specified models are provided in Attachment 1.

• Not applicable, as this is a market research RFI.

• Responses are strictly voluntary.

• The RFI Due Date is Thursday, 7 May 2026, 10:00 AM CDT (or sooner).

• Responses should be submitted via email to Dionne Harris (Dionne.harris@us.af.mil) and Rheame Griffin (rheame.griffin.2@us.af.mil), referencing the RFI number in the subject line.

• A Contractor Capability Survey questionnaire is included and should be completed and submitted with supporting documentation.

• Not applicable at this RFI stage.

• The customer is METC LOGISTICS & FACILITIES at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Fort Sam Houston.

• Participation in this RFI process will not obligate the Government and no reimbursement will be provided for costs associated with the submission of information.

• Attachment 1 provides salient characteristics for the specified ultrasound training models.

Ectopic Pregnancy Training Model:

• Must be compatible with 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasonography.

  • Soft Carry Case and Privacy Skirt.
  • Anatomical components: 7-Week Fetus with Amniotic Sac and Placenta, Endovaginal canal, Bladder, Cervix, Uterus with Intrauterine and Extrauterine Pregnancy, Endometrium, Left and Right Ovaries, Ovarian Follicles, Corpus Luteum Cyst, Broad Ligaments, Maternal Bowel and Colon, Free Fluid in Cul-de-Sac, Accessory Structures.
• Minimum Dimensions: 18" L x 18" W x 12" H (45 cm x 45 cm x 30 cm).
• Minimum Weight: 22 lbs. (10 kg).
• Minimum Warranty: 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty.

Sonohysterography & Sonosalpingography Training Model:

• Must be compatible with 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasonography.
• Must include:
  • Soft Carry Case and Privacy Skirt.
  • Anatomical components: Endovaginal canal, Cervix, Cervical canal, Uterus, Endometrial canal, Fibroids, Bladder, Patent fallopian tubes, Bowel.
• Dimensions: 18" x 18" x 12" (approximate).
• Weight: 22 lbs. (approximate).
• Minimum Warranty: 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty.

*Note: For "OR equal" brands, vendors must list any dimension/weight variance.
