Request for Information (RFI)

This RFI seeks information from interested contractors regarding their capability to provide repair and return services for unclassified and potentially classified F-16 APG-66 and APG-68 radar items, including associated Avionic LRUs and SRUs, down to the component level. This is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to a future RFP or contract.

• Repair and return services for F-16 APG-66 and APG-68 radar items and associated Avionic LRUs, SRUs.

• All repair work must comply with applicable Technical Orders (TOs).

• Contractors must identify which radar components they can repair without subcontracting.

• Provide details on any subcontracting required and the reasons for it.

• Estimate repair time for each item (e.g., 120 days).

• Estimate the percentage of the total contract value that would be subcontracted.

• Describe company strategy for recruiting, retaining, and managing a workforce of 200+ personnel.

• Confirm if the company has been certified by the USAF for repairs.

• Responses are requested in the form of a white paper.

• White papers are due by 18 JUNE 2026, 1300 hrs MST.

• Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format and sent via email to the designated points of contact.

• Responses are limited to 60 pages for Section 2.

• Proprietary information must be minimized and clearly marked.

• Questions regarding the RFI must be submitted in writing via email by 18 JUNE 2026, 1300 hrs MST.

• The document references FAR Part 9, Section 202, and AFMCI 23-113 for vendor qualification.

• Information is requested on business type (large, small, 8(a), HUBZone, etc.) based on NAICS code 811210.

• A general definition for small business concerns (averaging no more than $34 million in annual receipts) is provided, with a caution to refer to FAR Part 19 for detailed standards.

• Facility security clearance information is required.

• The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI.

• All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.

• The Government reserves the right to modify or cancel this RFI.

• The attached "RADAR components APG66_68 list" should be referenced.
