- Past performance thresholds may require one additional teaming partner.
- Potential clarification needed on staffing minimums before bid/no-bid.
Next steps
Validate eligibility requirements, assign capture owner, and schedule partner outreach to confirm teaming strategy before submission planning.
Quick Summary
The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Wide Area Network (WAN) Services. This RFI seeks information from potential sources capable of extending the Rogue Blue Software (RBS) development platform network to various CONUS locations, including Federal facilities, contracting partner facilities, and commercial/Federal Cloud Service Provider (CSP) datacenters. This is for market research and planning purposes only. Responses are due by June 09, 2026, at 12:00 pm EST.
Scope of Work
The requirement is for fully managed, end-to-end WAN services. The initial need is for two separate 1Gbps Ethernet Private Line (EPL) services connecting Offutt AFB, NE, and EGLIN AFB, FL. The solution must be architected to traverse an EGSNet/L2VPN/EVPN for secure network segmentation and connectivity.
Key Requirements
- Security: Network extension protected by a virtualized private network (VPN) with NSA CSfC-approved IPsec encryption.
- Monitoring: 24/7/365 Network Operations Center (NOC) or Secure NOC (SecNOC) monitoring.
- Connectivity: Ability to connect to multiple CONUS endpoints and Federal CSP endpoints.
- Implementation Timeline: Not to exceed 6 months from connection submission.
- Network Speed: Minimum of 1Gbps.
- Scalability: Graded bandwidth expansion capabilities.
- Personnel: Security services operated by government-cleared personnel.
- Compliance: All physical equipment must be Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant, and the solution must comply with CSfC IPsec standards.
Information Requested from Industry
Respondents should provide:
- Company Information (name, POC, CAGE code, business size).
- Capability Statement (demonstrating experience with similar DoD/federal services).
- Technical Approach (overview, monitoring, CSfC compliance, network reach).
- Estimated Implementation Timeline.
- Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) for services (Monthly Recurring Costs/Non-Recurring Costs for 12 months, plus options).
- Confirmation of ability to provide cleared personnel and facility clearance level.
Submission Details
- Response Due Date: June 09, 2026, 12:00 pm EST.
