• Place of Performance: VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS) Medical Centers and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) listed in Section 1.3.

• Personnel: Technicians must be California certified pesticide applicators. A Board-Certified Entomologist (BCE) or Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) must be available.

• Uniforms: Professional uniforms with company logo and nametag are required.

• Reporting: Comprehensive written documentation of all services performed, including pest identification, actions taken, and chemicals used.

• Chemicals: Restricted use of certain rodenticides and prohibition of 2,4-D herbicide. MSDS and trade names of all chemicals must be provided.

• Invoicing: Electronic submission via VA’s Electronic Invoice Presentment and Payment System (Tungsten).

• Safety: Contractor must ensure employees take necessary safety precautions and receive up-to-date training.
