Purpose & Scope
This RFI aims to conduct market research for a follow-on to the AFTAS PRO program, which provides analysis, development, integration, and implementation of acquisition program planning, assessment, and other capabilities for the Air Force acquisition enterprise. The Government has released an updated draft PWS (version 1.3.4) and is soliciting industry feedback.
The PWS outlines requirements for specialized support in 2026, including:
- Program Management: Strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, quality standards.
- Strategic & Acquisition Planning: Assisting with strategic plans, acquisition program planning, assessments, and reviews.
- Information Technology (IT) Support: System sustainment, integration, process improvement, portfolio transformation, and evaluating emerging technologies like AI/ML.
- Industrial Base Support: Technical and analytical support for a robust, secure, and resilient defense industrial base.
