Scope of Work
The contractor will provide transportation for Sailors between Government Leased Apartments (GLAs) and the 50th and 35th Street turnstiles, as well as from these turnstiles to government housing. Additional transportation services are required between the 37th Street Parking Garage, 50th Street turnstile, Huntington Hall, and the Bank Building. Services must ensure timely transport, with earliest departures by 0600 and last departures by 1700.
Vehicles must include 15-passenger vans and/or charter/shuttle buses capable of transporting up to 40 personnel. All vehicles must be air-conditioned, in sound mechanical condition, clean, equipped with safety features, and not more than five years old. The contractor is responsible for all fuel, EZ-Pass for tolls, and parking fees. Drivers must be qualified, licensed in Virginia, and adhere to driving hour restrictions. Contractor personnel must be U.S. Citizens.
