Quick Summary
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Montana State Office, is soliciting quotes for noxious weed treatment services in the Scratchgravel Hills area near Helena, Montana. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for a firm-fixed-priced, single award contract. The work involves treating approximately 500 acres of noxious weeds. Quotes are due March 13, 2026, at 1400 MST.
Scope of Work
This opportunity requires contractors to furnish all labor, equipment, fuel, supervision, supplies, and incidentals for the application of herbicides to control specific noxious weed species (e.g., Leafy Spurge, Spotted knapweed, Dalmation toadflax, Canada thistle) across three timber harvest units totaling 500 acres. The contractor is responsible for purchasing, transporting, storing, and disposing of herbicides, ensuring application adheres to label specifications and regulations. Drone or UTV application methods are acceptable, as aerial spraying is not considered economical due to sparse weed distribution. No on-site water or camping is available.
