• Evaluation Criteria: Award will be made on a best-value basis considering technical capabilities, past performance, and price. Offerors must be determined to have acceptable technical and past performance. Technical criteria include an Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) Training Certificate for the Comet iVario Product Line. Past performance requires evidence of successful past performance on one project within the last five years, relevant to the scope of sections 1.4 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide semi-annual maintenance on two (2) x-ray generator and cooling units, and up to two (2) troubleshooting service calls per year for the Trident Refit Facility (TRIREFFAC), Bangor.

• Perform preventative maintenance on two COMET x-ray systems twice annually.

• Provide up to two (2) troubleshooting service calls per year, with each call limited to one day.

• Contractor must be an authorized service provider/technician for COMET Technologies USA, Inc. industrial x-ray equipment.

• Purchase of additional repair parts is not covered by this contract; parts will be installed during the next scheduled maintenance or troubleshooting call.

• Preventative maintenance to be performed twice a year.

• Troubleshooting service calls up to two times per year.

• Service reports must be submitted to the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) or Assistant Radiation Safety Officer (ARSO).

• Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).

• Period of Performance: 5 years upon award of contract.

• Place of Performance: TRF Bangor, Bldg. 7000, Rm W115 (Vault).

• Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 0630 to 1500, excluding Federal holidays or government facility closures.

• Contractor personnel must be trained and accredited through COMET Technologies USA, Inc.

• Key personnel include Senior Radiographer, Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), COR, and Non-Destructive Testing Division Head.

• All contract personnel must have a DBIDS badge.

• Government will provide personal protective equipment, hazardous waste disposal services, a work area, power, lighting, basic hand tools, and hazardous waste disposal gear.
