Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (D.O.T) annual inspection requirements for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Southern Nevada Fire and Aviation division's fleet of trailers.

• Perform full D.O.T trailer inspections on specified BLM fire division trailers at the Red Rock BLM Fire Station.

• Document inspections using official D.O.T Inspection Forms and record any necessary repairs on a government-provided BLM Annual Inspection Form.

• Document specific information for each trailer, including axle manufacturer, model, Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), bearing type, bearing part number, and bearing seal part number for inspected and repacked hubs.

• Inspect all tires for wear and age, reporting any replacement needs.

• Inspect and repack axle hubs and bearings with grease on approximately 8 trailers (1 with oil-bathed hubs, 7 with standard grease-packed hubs).

• Install current D.O.T inspection stickers on trailer frames near the hitch upon successful inspection.

• The Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) shall not exceed five (5) years.

• Inspections will be conducted at the Red Rock Fire Station, 2925 Moenkopi Road, Las Vegas, NV 89135.

• The inspector must be D.O.T qualified.

• The vendor must provide current price schedules annually for BPA review.

• The BLM intends to award a single BPA, reviewed annually for best value and fair/reasonable pricing.
