Quick Summary
The Department of the Army is conducting a Sources Sought market research effort to identify potential sources for the production and delivery of Side-Facing Multi-Function Operator Seats (SFMFOS) Troop Seat Bars for the UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter. This initiative aims to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition. Responses are due by May 22, 2026.
Scope of Work
The requirement includes the production and delivery of specific components:
- Assembly Tube Support: PN MBCS4458-1, Quantity: 120
- Assembly Seat Attachment: PN MBCS12138-1, Quantity: 480 All systems and associated sub-components must meet Airworthiness Release (AWR) criteria. The applicable NAICS code is 336413.
Key Considerations
The Government does not own the complete Technical Data Packages (TDPs). The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Martin-Baker America, Inc. (CAGE: 10842), is currently the only known approved source. Access to proprietary technical data requires a teaming agreement with the OEM.
