Purpose & Scope
This solicitation seeks a contractor to provide secure, climate-controlled, and continuously accessible storage services for mission-essential United States Air Force property. The objective is to prevent loss and environmental degradation of sensitive, high-value equipment, supporting operational readiness and asset preservation. The scope includes furnishing all personnel, supervision, facilities, and management to securely store, safeguard, and provide access to Government-owned assets, such as outboard engines, inflatable watercraft, and operator tactical gear.
Key Requirements
The contractor must provide storage unit(s) meeting specific criteria:
- Space: Minimum 500 sq ft of clean, dry, secure space.
- Climate Control: Maintain 55°F-75°F and <=50% relative humidity, 24/7.
- Structure: Fully enclosed, weather-resistant construction with sealed concrete or similar non-porous floors, free from pests, mold, mildew, standing water, and structural hazards.
- Security & Access: Facility must have a perimeter fence, electronic access gate, and 24/7 video surveillance. 24/7/365 access is required, with the Government placing its own locks on individual units.
- Reporting: Report security breaches, theft, loss, or damage to the COR within 2 hours (formal report within 24 hours). Notify COR of climate control, security, or access system failures within 1 hour.
- Property Management: Government personnel will perform all property management and inventory functions. The contractor must allow and support periodic Government inspections.
