Scope of Work
The anticipated contract will require the contractor to provide comprehensive DME services to Veteran beneficiaries within VISN-04 geographical areas, including all supplies, materials, equipment, transportation, set-up, labor, supervision, patient education, safety management, and infection control. Services must be available twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, including Federal Holidays. The contractor must be capable of performing services within the catchment areas of any major VISN-04 site.
Key DME items that may be required include, but are not limited to: Hospital Beds, Mattresses, Trapeze, Bedside Tables, Patient Lifts, Bathroom Safety Aids, Feeding Pumps, IV Poles, CCTV's, Manual and Power Wheelchairs, Scooters, and other Mobility Aids.
