Services must comply with CETA Guidelines, USP 797, USP 800, ANSI/ASHRAE 110, ISO 14644, and NSF/ANSI 49 standards.

Key services include:

  • Testing and certification of chemical fume hoods, laminar flow hoods, biological safety cabinets, and cleanrooms.
  • Specific tests such as airflow velocity, HEPA/ULPA filter leak, lighting intensity, vibration, noise level, electrical leakage, pressure tests, and various particle counts (total, viable, non-viable).
  • Environmental air sampling, surface sampling, personnel competency assessments, and environmental wipe sampling for hazardous drug residue.

Performance & Personnel Requirements

  • Equipment used for certification must be calibrated and NIST traceable.
  • Reports are required within 14 business days, with immediate notification for failed testing.
  • Contractor personnel must have at least 2 years of experience and training in relevant standards.
  • Testing and certifications must be reviewed and signed by an NSF/ANSI-49 and CETA Certified National Board of Testing (CNBT) Registered Certified Professional (RCP).
  • The laboratory used must be AIHA or A2LA accredited.
