Quick Summary
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), under the Department of Commerce, has issued a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (RFQ) for Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) Extender Heads and a Calibration Kit. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside procurement, seeking a single firm-fixed-price purchase order. Quotations are due by April 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM MST.
Scope of Work
NIST requires two (2) WR6.5 Tx/Rx VNA Extender Head Modules and one (1) WR6.5 Calibration Kit for measurements of integrated circuits at its Boulder, CO facility. The extender heads must operate within a bandwidth of 110 GHz to 170 GHz, featuring a 120 dB dynamic range, 0.25 dB magnitude stability, 4 deg phase stability, and a maximum test port output power of 13 dBm. The calibration kit must be a TRL Kit, including specific short circuits, matched loads, a straight waveguide, and a quarter wave shim. All specifications are considered "typical" based on NIST measurements.
