Scope of Work

ACC-DTA seeks information on industry capabilities for manufacturing the Breech Lock Bundle, which includes multiple National Stock Numbers (NSNs): 1005-01-629-5635, 1005-01-536-5640, 1005-01-536-5643, 1005-01-629-6807, 1005-01-536-5685, 1005-01-629-6801, 1005-01-629-5688, 1005-01-629-5684, 1005-01-629-7417, 1005-01-629-6783. The purpose is to ascertain the interest, capability, and capacity of potential offerors.

Key Requirements & Instructions

  • Technical Data Package (TDP): A TDP exists but is restricted to Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. DoD contractors (Distribution Code D). Access requires a current DD 2345 (Military Critical Technical Data Agreement) on file with DLIS. Vendors must request access via SAM.gov and will be granted access upon verification of their Joint Certification Program (JCP) registration. All distributed TDPs must be destroyed after use.
  • First Article Testing: The contractor will be required to perform first article testing on five units of each NSN of the Breech Lock Bundle.
  • Response Content: Submissions should include:
    • Company profile (name, address, CAGE, POC, contact details, website).
    • Business type (NAICS 332994) and small business status.
    • Nonmanufacturer rule qualification details.
    • Confirmation of a current DD 2345.
    • Experience manufacturing the item, current manufacturing capability, production location, first article testing experience, production lead time, monthly production rates, current price per unit, quality management system details, commercial availability, and any other pertinent information.
    • Minimum order quantity or quantity discount thresholds.
  • Proprietary Information: Clearly mark all proprietary information and include a release statement for Army personnel.
