• Technical data is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act and the Export Administration Act. Information cannot be released outside the United States without prior Government approval.

• Offerors and any sources of supply must have a current United States/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification to access export-controlled data.

Sources Sought

This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is being conducted by the Defense Logistics Agency to identify potential manufacturing/supply sources for the acquisition of an EXTINGUISHER,FIRE,A, NSN: 1680-01-275-9782, Part Number: 70310-03101-108, in support of the BLACKHAWK weapon system. The government is seeking to determine if future efforts can be competitive or set aside for small businesses.

• The part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing.

• Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources.

• Contractors must meet prequalification requirements.

• The contractor will be responsible for recurring and nonrecurring engineering services, supply chain management, logistics, forecasting, long-lead parts procurement, material forecasting, obsolescence issues, and final delivery of assets.
