Opportunity Details
TRFB requires the application of Non-Conductive Coating (NCC) via Plasma Spray (Thermal Spray) to thirty-nine (39) National Stock Numbered (NSN) electrical connectors. These connectors are essential for manufacturing submersible cable assemblies for SSBN 726 Class Submarines. The government will ship the connectors to the contractor, who will perform the work at their CONUS facility and ship them back to TRFB.
Scope of Work
- Apply plasma (thermal) spray NCC to submersible electrical connectors in accordance with NAVSEA S9320-AM-PRO-030/MLDG Rev-2.
- Prevent thermal/mechanical damage to non-metallic inserts during application.
- Provide all necessary personnel, facilities, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services.
- Ship coated connectors back to TRFB, providing tracking data within 72 hours of pick-up.
- Deliver Certificates of Compliance (CoC) for each lot of connectors.
