Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive services including the removal of one (1) Westinghouse switchboard/MCC panel in Room 241 and one (1) GE switchboard/MCC panel in Room 119. New customized Eaton (or equal) switchboards and MCC panels will be installed in both rooms. Key tasks involve:
- Equipment Removal & Installation: Disconnecting and temporarily powering critical equipment (hot water pumps, sewer ejection compressors) during panel replacement.
- Circuit Rerouting & Integration: Rerouting feeder circuits, control wiring, and ensuring seamless integration with existing Trane Building Automation System (BAS) and Schneider Electric StruxureWare monitoring systems. A certified Trane Authorized Controls technician is required for BAS verification and recommissioning.
- Power Distribution: Refeeding new MCCs from existing breakers and rerouting lighting panel feeds. Repowering of panels must occur after hours or on weekends.
- Studies & Disposal: Providing an arc flash, short circuit, and coordination study for the entire ALTESS facility. All old equipment and debris must be removed and disposed of at an approved offsite facility.
