Purpose & Scope of Work
The primary objective is to provide OEM attendance to the USNS Alan Shepard (T-AKE-3) to troubleshoot, calibrate, and groom the Tank Level Indicator (TLI) system. The scope includes providing labor and materials for repairs, OEM representative services, inspection and grooming of the TLI system and cabinet, and verifying TLI system data accuracy against the Machinery Communication and Control System (MCCS). The contractor will also verify functionality of overfill and summary alarms, test pressure sensors, and coordinate with ship's force for TLI replacements. All work must comply with SOLAS regulations and ABS Rules for Building and Classing Steel Vessels, performed in the presence of an ABS Surveyor, Chief Engineer, and MSC Representative.

- Evaluation Factors: Price reasonableness and past performance will be evaluated as part of the responsibility determination. The Government reserves the right to make a single award for all items.

Special Requirements
The OEM technical representative must provide their own pressure calibrator. Contractors must adhere to strict safety protocols, including High Voltage (HV) electrical system awareness and shipboard lockout tag out procedures. Compliance with applicable General Technical Requirements (GTRs) 1-7, 22, 23, and 29 is mandatory. Contractor Furnished Material includes specific submersible pressure sensors and HPT-2 units.
