Scope of Work

This opportunity seeks services for both Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Unscheduled Maintenance & Repair (UM) of MFP equipment, which includes mixer/grinders, meat conveyors, meat saws, ovens, proofers, meat choppers, meat tenderizers, meat slicers, and rotisseries. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and transportation. Services are commercial in nature.

Key Performance Standards (from PWS summary):

  • PM: Establish a PM program, provide initial PM within 30 days of award, communicate discovered repairs within five business days.
  • UM: Respond to service calls within one business day, perform on-the-spot repairs if no additional costs, or present a service plan within one business day and complete within seven days of COR acceptance.
  • Reporting: Provide PM schedules/checklists within 15 days of award and update as needed.
  • Service Times: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, excluding federal holidays.
  • Personnel: Provide qualified, trained, and certified labor, supervisory, and management personnel.
  • Parts & Material: Use OEM or equivalent new parts; cannibalization is not authorized.
  • Safety & Quality: Develop and comply with a safety plan and a Quality Control Program (QCP).
