• Average Daily Census: The facility prepares for approximately 400 servings daily, with an average census of 375.
• Configuration: The government is open to changing the current trayline configuration or footprint. Modifications such as removing a half wall and relocating refrigerators are possible.
• Trayline Operation: Both sides of the current trayline are operational, with one side for cold items and the other for hot items. The existing trayline is functional, though some parts of the top conveyor are missing.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ #36C25026Q0489) for a hospital-grade, fully integrated trayline system for the Department of Veterans Affairs Cleveland Medical Center. The goal is to replace an outdated system to improve operational efficiency, maintain food safety, and support continuous patient meal service.

• Turnkey Solution: Provide a complete, integrated trayline system including furnishing, delivery, removal of existing equipment, installation, configuration, testing, and making the system fully operational.

• System Integration: All components must function as a single, cohesive solution. Brand name or equal solutions must demonstrate equivalent system-wide integration.

• Specific Components: Includes a Hot Food Server (4-5 wells), Gravity Shelf System with Bin Storage, Non-Refrigerated Tray Table, Refrigerated Tray Table, Refrigerated Storage Unit (B-Cool Type or equivalent), Mobile Tray Dispenser, and Mobile Heated Plate Dispenser.
